Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of Best Offshore Betting Sites at mod-meals.com. We are an independent comparison and review site covering offshore sportsbooks that accept US bettors. We do not take bets, hold funds, issue bonuses or operate any gambling service. By reading, linking out from or otherwise using this site, you accept the terms set out below. Last reviewed September 19, 2026.
You must be at least 21 years old to use this site and to follow any link from it — or 18 where that is the minimum age set by the sportsbook and permitted where you live. If you are under that age, leave now. Gambling involves the real risk of losing money. If it stops being entertainment, call the national helpline at 1-800-GAMBLER.
What this site is and what it is not
Best Offshore Betting Sites publishes editorial reviews, rankings and explanatory guides about offshore betting sites. Everything here is information and opinion. It is not legal advice, financial advice, tax advice or a recommendation that you should gamble.
- We are not a bookmaker, a payment processor or an agent of any operator.
- We cannot open, verify, credit, freeze or close an account for you, and we cannot process or chase a withdrawal.
- Your contract when you place a bet is with the sportsbook, under its own terms and its own offshore license — not with us.
- Any dispute over a settled bet, a voided wager, a bonus or a payout must be raised with the operator directly.
If you want help understanding deposit limits, time-outs or self-exclusion options, start with our account controls and support guidance.
Affiliate disclosure and how we make money
Some links on this site are commercial. If you open an account with an operator after following one of them, we may earn a commission. You pay nothing extra, and the price or bonus you see is the operator's, not ours.
Commission does not buy a position. A brand cannot pay to be ranked higher, to have a drawback removed, or to be described in terms we do not believe are accurate. Some sites we cover have no commercial relationship with us at all, and some brands that pay well sit low in our lists or are not listed. Where a page recommends paid or commissioned options, this disclosure applies to that page.
How our rankings and ratings are produced
Our editorial ratings — the scores shown on our top lists, running from 10.0 down — are our own judgment, not customer review scores and not a measure of how likely you are to win. They are assembled from published operator terms, licensing information where it can be verified, banking pages, odds comparison, market availability and publicly reported user experience. We research and verify; we do not claim to have deposited, wagered or withdrawn at these books.
The factors we weigh:
| Factor | What we look at | Why it matters to a US bettor |
|---|---|---|
| Odds and pricing | Point spread and totals juice, moneyline pricing, reduced vig options | Price does more to your bankroll over a season than any sign-up bonus |
| Market coverage | NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, soccer, golf, MMA, plus props, futures, parlays and same-game parlays | Depth matters if you bet beyond the main US leagues |
| Live and in-play betting | Speed of the in-play feed, breadth of live markets | Slow or thin live betting is a common weak point offshore |
| Limits | Stated maximum wagers, tolerance for winning accounts | Higher betting limits are a main reason bettors go offshore |
| Banking and payout speed | Crypto, card, bank wire, money transfer, voucher/player transfer; fees, minimums, caps | Getting paid is the whole point |
| Track record | Years operating, pattern of payment complaints, transparency of terms | No US regulator will make an offshore book pay you |
| Bonuses | Headline figure alongside rollover, minimum odds and expiry | A large bonus with heavy wagering requirements is often worth less than a small one |
Ratings and rankings can change without notice as terms, odds and reputations move. A score published on one date is not a promise about tomorrow.
Terms attached to the operators we list
Offers shown on our pages are the operators' own advertised promotions, reproduced as published and subject to change by them at any time. Always read the sportsbook's bonus terms in full before depositing. Below are the headline offers we currently list for the top-ranked books, with the conditions you must check yourself on the operator's site.
Lucky Rebel
Ranked first on our lists with an editorial rating of 10.0, largely on the breadth of its welcome package and its crypto-first banking. Its advertised offer is a 125% welcome bonus up to $1,250 plus a 50 FreeBet. That headline figure means nothing without the attached rollover, minimum odds and expiry window, which the operator sets and can revise — read them on the promotions page before you deposit, and assume the maximum bonus requires a deposit large enough to match it. Limitation: it is a newer name relative to the long-established books on this page, so it has a shorter public track record of paying out at scale. A short history is not evidence of a problem, but it is less evidence of reliability than a decade of settled complaints.
Bovada
Rated 9.9, and on our list mainly for name recognition among US bettors and consistent coverage of the big four leagues plus props and same-game parlays. Advertised offer: a 50% welcome bonus up to $250 — smaller than several rivals here, with rollover, minimum odds and a time limit set by the operator and stated in its terms. Limitation: Bovada does not accept customers from every US state, its published exclusions change, and several bettors report tighter limits on sharp action. Check the restricted-states list before you sign up rather than after.
BetOnline
Rated 9.6. It earns its place on market depth and banking range — a wide crypto menu alongside card, wire and money transfer options — plus a racebook and live betting. Advertised offer: $250 in free bets as a welcome bonus, with the operator's own qualifying deposit, rollover, minimum-odds and expiry conditions applying. Limitation: free-bet style offers usually exclude the stake from any return, and BetOnline's card deposit success rates for US customers can be inconsistent, which pushes many bettors toward crypto by default.
BetNow
Rated 9.5, listed for the size of its advertised welcome package — 125% up to $2,500 — which is among the largest we cover. The trade-off is the usual one: the bigger the percentage, the heavier the wagering requirement tends to be, and the bonus is typically locked until rollover is cleared at the operator's stated minimum odds and within its stated time limit. Limitation: its market catalog is narrower than BetOnline's, particularly outside US leagues, and withdrawal options are more limited than at the larger books.
The rest of our top list
| Sportsbook | Editorial rating | Advertised welcome offer |
|---|---|---|
| Everygame | 9.3 | 100% up to $500 |
| BetUS | 9.3 | 100% up to $2,000 sports, plus 25% casino |
| Sportsbetting | 9.1 | 50% up to $250 in free bets |
| Xbet | 8.8 | 50% up to $200 on credit card deposits |
| MyBookie | 8.6 | 100% up to $1,000, new players |
| ApuestaHoy | 8.6 | 200% welcome offer |
Every offer above is subject to rollover or wagering requirements, minimum odds, time limits and eligibility rules set by the operator. None of them is free money: each requires you to deposit and risk your own funds. We publish the headline as advertised and expect you to verify the conditions at source.
Money, payments and what we do not control
We never handle your money. Deposits, withdrawals, fees and exchange rates are entirely between you and the sportsbook. What US bettors typically encounter offshore:
- Cryptocurrency — usually the fastest route in and out, and often the only one with no processing fee. Crypto prices move; the dollar value of a balance or a pending payout can fall before it lands. That volatility is your risk, not ours.
- Bank cards — Visa and Mastercard deposits are sometimes accepted, but US issuers decline gambling transactions frequently. Declines are a bank decision, and no offshore book can override them.
- Bank wire — generally available for larger withdrawals, usually with a fee and the longest wait of any method.
- Money transfer and voucher or player transfer — offered by some books, typically with caps per transaction and their own fees.
Payout timings, minimums, maximums, per-week limits and fees vary by book and by method, and operators change them. Verify the current numbers on the operator's banking page before you commit funds. Most books require KYC verification — ID, proof of address, sometimes a payment-method check — before releasing a first withdrawal, even where signup was light-touch. Expect it, and expect delays if your documents do not match your account details.
The risk we will not soften: an offshore sportsbook can delay a payout, apply terms you did not read, or in a worst case refuse to pay. There is no US state regulator, no segregated-funds requirement and no dispute resolution service standing behind your balance. We rank on track record because track record is most of what you have.
What these sites offer beyond sports betting
Most of the operators listed here run more than a sportsbook under one login and one wallet. That matters for these terms because bonus funds, rollover and withdrawal restrictions often move between products in ways that are easy to miss.
- Casino — slots, table games and live-dealer rooms. BetUS, for example, advertises a separate 25% casino portion alongside its sports welcome bonus, with its own wagering terms.
- Racebook — horse racing wagering, sometimes with rebates. Racebook action commonly does not count toward sportsbook bonus rollover.
- Poker — offered by several offshore brands, usually with separate promotions and a separate balance.
- Esports and novelty markets — priced and limited differently from the main leagues.
Read the bonus terms for the product you actually intend to play. A sports welcome bonus cleared on casino spins, or vice versa, is one of the more common reasons a withdrawal gets voided.
Legal standing, eligibility and your responsibilities
The sportsbooks covered on this site are licensed outside the United States — commonly in jurisdictions such as Curaçao, Panama or Costa Rica. They are not licensed or regulated by any US state gaming commission or board, and they are not authorized to serve bettors in any particular US state simply because they accept US customers. Accepting US players and being legally authorized to serve them are different things.
US sports betting law is set state by state. Some states license and regulate online sportsbooks and racebooks through their own gaming commission; others permit retail betting only; others prohibit online wagering outright. Offshore betting sits in a legal grey area for US bettors, and the rules that apply to you depend on where you are. It is your responsibility to check your own state's laws and act accordingly.
What follows from that:
- No US state player protections apply to an offshore account — no segregated player funds, no state-run complaints process, no guaranteed payout.
- You must meet the operator's minimum age, which is 21 on this site's standard and never below 18.
- Operators exclude certain states and countries. Misrepresenting your location can cost you your balance under the operator's terms.
- Gambling winnings may carry tax obligations in the US. This is general information only — consult a qualified tax professional about your own position.
- Nothing on this site is legal advice. If your situation is unclear, speak to a licensed attorney in your state.
Accuracy, liability and changes to these terms
We check facts on publication and revisit pages periodically, and time-sensitive findings carry a date. Even so, odds, promotions, banking options, state restrictions and licensing details change frequently and sometimes without announcement. We do not warrant that everything here is complete or current at the moment you read it, and we distinguish, where we can, between confirmed information, operator advertising and questions we have not been able to resolve.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Best Offshore Betting Sites is not liable for gambling losses, for funds held or refused by an operator, for account closures, or for any decision you make based on content published here. You use this site and act on it at your own risk.
We may update these terms as the site, the market or the law changes. The revised version applies from the date it is published. Content on mod-meals.com is our own work; please do not republish it without permission.
Betting responsibly
No tip, ranking or system on this site is a guaranteed winner, and betting is not a source of income. Bet only what you can afford to lose, and never bet to recover losses or to escape stress. Offshore sportsbooks frequently lack the deposit limits, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion tools that regulated US operators must provide — do not assume those safeguards exist on an offshore account.
Confidential help is available 24/7 in the US through the National Problem Gambling Helpline: 1-800-GAMBLER. Our responsible gambling resources set out the warning signs and the tools worth using.
